Mush Morning

Mush morning half head!

Sometimes mush mornings start at 10 o’clock at night, sometimes at 3 in the afternoon, when your sleep was more like a power nap and you need to rush to get the kids from school. Sometimes it’s a mush morning at 3 am with the night so quiet you can sit and think and savor your warm cuppa joe, before the chaos begins. Whatever time it is, be a little mushy! Write what you’re thinking and sip sip sip. Then doodle a thing or two. Meditate. Or not. Make a pancake breakfast at night. Sun salutations or moon salutations, it’s an ever ending circle turning, turning ’round. Yin yang, night day. There’s not much left to ponder really. I have begun to love each day I wake, it’s a miracle we’re all even here right now, so I’m learning to be grateful just to be breathin’ breathing, breathe…

Rise and Mush

Your new daily dose of coffee head cup? With a new saying on the cup each day? Hmmm.

Could I start a new mush everyday with a morning cup of half head in your coffee cup, saying something obnoxious like …rise and shine?

I think that would be redundantly ridiculous! And grow old, but then I’ll forget about it for a while and not do any… and them bam! give you a dose of half head coffee cup man again! What do you say? Sound refreshing like a nice warm cup of tea or coffee?

Here is the first one and I laughed and laughed and said, did I forget how to draw half head? Because this looks like a potato head!

Have a ridiculously good morning!

Fall Birdos

Notice the birds singing in the fall

I love how the sun shines in Fall, particularly late afternoon. It’s just a different golden shade which illuminates the leaves falling, illuminates the shadows that cascade around you. Do you notice it too? It’s my favorite thing about fall. I want to be able to always pause and notice these seemingly ordinary occurrences.

I like to take my walks around the park this time of year to notice what’s taking place. What are the animals preparing for. What should we be preparing for?

I am in a pondering, wondering state of mind. I get this way when I’m thinking sometimes. At least it’s better than the anxious overthinking what I say and do…at least I’m thinking of a grander, expansive picture. Of the world and how tiny I really be.

National Chocolate Milk Day

I blew the store up with code mush chocolate milk signs. Oh boy, now that I have had time to overthink everything, I’ve come to the conclusion that they’re not very good. Awful…

Creepy actually. I can see why my manager wasn’t exactly thrilled. I’m a weirdo! Ugh, and I also don’t know math very well. But I’ll be overthinking all weekend, so I don’t know what you’ll be up to. Good day…

Oh,

Oh, just here being weird and sad

Oh, just creeping around the corner to let you know I’m still here, just being weird and sad lately. Times call you to go inward and reflect on certain things. Certain actions, or patterns you keep seeing turn up in your life. Knowing you can change just by stepping back and thinking. Thinkin’ about things. Thinkin’ ’bout thungs. Thunkin’ ‘boot t’ings. You know, personally I feel intense lately and got to feel it out.

By goin’ on a walk about? …find out, what it’s all about!

Hahaha who knows that song?

This Birdo is Dancing in the Rain

Birdo is Dancing in the Rain

Dance, I tells ya. Dance! Even when it’s raining!

Life is always going to be messy. Total chaos and sadness!

I watched a movie recently where it’s set in a small town by the sea, and everyone is effected by this love letter that was left lying around a bookstore. And people keep finding it and thinking someone wrote it for them. Eventually you find out in the end who wrote it, but it’s an adorable film (adapted by a book by the same title, the Love Letter by Catheline Schine). I just thought the line that the character played by Tom Selleck (spelled his name right?) let me see if I can paraphrase:

Helen: Can you forgive me?

George:  Forgive you for what? For being human?

Messy, fucked up…that’s the good stuff, Helen.

I think everyone in the town is living, loving all because of this letter. And messing it all up in the process.

I’m truly dumb. In the heart. But I wish I owned my own bookstore or worked at one.

Half Head with Dumb Brain

Half head with dumb brain!

Half head with its big dumb brain exposed,  embarrassed and hiding.

I really do hope I come up with some better ideas besides birds, brains, heads, slugs, and turtles. But until then those will be in heavy rotation on the mush site! Sorry, but consistency seems to be therapeutic!!
