Levitating Coffee

Levitating Coffee…

Coffee so strong it levitates? My coffee shall not float away from me!

Please explain.

Shouldn’t a strong coffee be weighty, forcefully gravitating towards the bottom of the mug because it’s so dark and strong? Like a chunk of something strong? Hmmm?

Or is it that the caffeine is strong in its essence, thus levitating you into that strong focused mind? … I mean we’re not talking physical properties here. It’s just strong in essence but has a force that only can float away to be tempted by another coffee fanatic. Okay, ahem…makes sense…yeah, I get it. I mean I drew it I’m supposed to get it. Explain it. In mushiness you can only describe mere essences!!

Bwwahhaha you take of it what you will, I’m going to go find my levitating coffee mug!

Time for Mush Coffee

The Elixir of Enlightenment! Or Crapulence. Well, we all know what happens when we drink too much coffee so…more like Crapulence than Revelations…but one could have Revelations in Crapulence too. It’s all in perspectives…

I’ve been in a coffee mug mode lately, and in this mode I keep seeking enlightenment in some way…in these small moments of sipping hot bean liquids. Sometimes matcha latte if I want to spice things up a bit…

But I grab my journal and my mug, sip sip, write write, scribble scribble, dribble dribble. It’s not the summer of pasta anymore but the summer of mush coffee. The summer of Enlightenment! Sounds more philosophical…what it really is is sitting on my ass drinking coffee and writing terrible things about myself. But I’m getting somewhere.

Mush Coffee Break

I’ve probably used that title before because I’m always drawing coffee cups. It’s time for a coffee break. Afternoon coffee break time!

I ran out of ideas, please have a seat and enjoy a coffee break. I don’t care if you don’t drink coffee, PRETEND. Grab an empty cup and PRETEND to drink, and nervously laugh. hahahahahah….

I can’t help myself, I have to put a face on everything. and this is a face of a coffee cup having its own coffee break.

Saturdays

And journal writing.

And getting the oil changes, inspection and tire rotation done (so haven’t been completely lazy. Plus I’m doing laundry continually for the rest of my life so I could never be lazy).

Halloween costumes are set, Jack Skelington and Luigi. They can’t change their minds and the costumes fit so nothing to get bent out of shape over. And then later this evening we’ll make our way to the fair! Doing all the Fall things.

And also I’ve been absent from the wee ol’ blog page, sorry about that. The school year has started and I’ve been busy plus also a slug? If that’s possible. A boot scootin’ slug, man. Going through many changes and lack of description over those details remains a mystery to you all…and to me as well as I still remain committed to NOT changing or evolving ever. But events have forced me to, so I’d rather not say…ugh just Ugh. UUUUGGGGHHHH

And that’s the sound of a boot scootin’ slug!

COFFEE…JOURNAL…refreshing isn’t it? Well, I thought so, that’s why I posted this for Illustration Friday’s word for the week.

Sometimes that’s all I need to start the day off right! A few words of thought and a few sips of enlightenment… I mean, coffee. The elixir of enlightenment. Well, some would say the elixir of irritable bowels and just plain irritable-ness! But I like that moment of “ahhh..” from my first sip.

Refreshing, isn’t it??

Not too Late

These two objects don’t really go together at all (tomato and coffee mug if you were wondering what those two objects were) but they were on my straw mat this morning as I was meditating. I advise that coffee really isn’t something you want to be drinking while trying to meditate. I simply just could not focus! Jitter bug that I am…

The tomato came from my very own tomato plant and it’s just about to turn red ( I pick them early because I have some pesky birds that will try to eat them if I don’t pick it early enough). I guess green tomatoes are bitter and so is black coffee…that would be the only correlation with the two (that and they come from some kind of plant). How do I turn those into a meditation practice? Well, I didn’t, I just turned it into an opportunity to draw!

It’s not too late to find random things and turn it into some creativity!
