More blobs to get you through the day!…I mean it’s how I get through my day…

What constitutes a blob? Misshapen, mass of a face, with a look of dismay or delusion…I think that constitutes as a blob.
I am a blob.

I am a blob.

It’s a blobby kind of April, in which I must only draw blobs. Face blobs really. Ugh, because who feels normal? Who feels human? Or better yet where are the humans in this inhumane world!? Ugh…

Here is my April playlist, complete with all the feels humanly possible, some blobby, some slobby, so I know I’m still alive. Are you alive and feeling Blobby too?
Mushy Blob should be the title of April too..okay that will be my next title.
Blobs in journal.
I feel like a blob lately. Honestly writing seems too much for this blob lately, so just half assed doodles will do.

It’s been a while since I’ve doodled a mush brain. A brain that lately has been mush. Oh well, that’s actually 90 % of the time. A brain certainly downtrodden.

I remind myself I’m going to make it anyway.

Quite literally!
And with Fungi!
Windy days, and warming days here in Texas. And my allergies are in panic mode. But even that doesn’t stop me from trying to find something to capture on my wander/walkabouts.

Bluebonnets are the state flower here in Texas and I found some blooming at the university yesterday. Among some other blooms, magnolias, camilias, and the same Japanese maples I took in the fall are starting to bud new leaves!

But my all time favorites are the silhouettes of birds in trees. At least it’s not fungi.

It won’t be long before the silhouettes will be overtaken by bushy leaves in the trees. I do love a leaf less tree for photo taking purposes. And really they are rather cool looking. Especially when there are birds in them! I really do love these.
What will Spring Bring? Hopefully some new and unknown territories. But I’m afraid the answer my friend is blowing in the wind, the answer is blowing in the wind…but whatever it is I hope it’s good for everyone! We all need something good these days.
Of course there will be doodles today of both! pi Day and lunar eclipse.
I tried.

It hasn’t happened yet! but will be happening in the early hours of the morning here in the states. You bet your ass I’ll be grabbing some coffee and heading out! I don’t have a high tech camera but I’ll do my best to get what I can.

And while I’m up and at ’em so early I might as well grab a slice of pie somewheres, then crash for a little nap. I’ve set my agenda already for this Friday March 14th! Time to set my alarm(s).

Seems like the only acceptable occupation in winter time…being a blanket burrito. And book in hand, cozy kitty on my legs, I see no other way to occupy my time with. Good day to you all.

Squawkin’ into Spring
As in ostriching and awkwarding into Spring! if I can turn those words into verbs for this moment onward I would. Because I don’t know what else I’m doing with my life, so making up verbs and words will do.
silly and grumpy ostriches!
Mush faces coming at you! because I haven’t felt like drawing and/or anything really. But these are my new half faces along the pages of my journal.

I do have a new March playlist! You can guess the theme I believe:
I did get out today with camera, and it was the same rather dismal sky. You wouldn’t have believed it was March and the beginning of spring break here. So I won’t show you the same mushroomy toadstools I found today. But I did figure out the big birds I thought were cranes were actually great egrets because that makes more sense around here along the creek beds and such. The other morning it was still dark and I was coming across the bridge over the creek I saw some flying above me. They were huge and graceful! That was cool! Or it could be herons, but I’m thinking they’re egrets. There were three flying above me. So I’m not sure, they looked too wirey to be geese. Who knows they were cool birds flying above me!
Anyway we don’t have any big grand mush adventures planned, but just being with my kids is all that I want to do. And so I imagine we will find something magical even if it’s just a cool rock and/or a new hiking trail.
