A Bunny Batch

A batch ‘o bunnies

You may one day look out into your garden thinking all my cabbages are coming up nicely, only to find if you look closer, you’ve only just been growing a bunny batch!

Your cabbages have been replaced with bunny batches actually. Woops!

Happy Easter!

Ugh, I’m Angry and I hate the World!

I have been angry and hating the world for a while now … Ugh! Has turned into Screaming!

AHHHHH!!!!!!

it’s hard to watch the news every day, that is, if you can find reliable and trustworthy news in America.

So I just turn to my doodles. Not to deflect or pretend the world isn’t collapsing, but to try and not be consumed by fear. I turn to the small acts that seemingly make it bearable. Because it’s not normal! and it’s very hard to keep going when you feel so small and helpless in all of this!

I am small, quiet and introverted… but raging against the machine!!!

It’s Bloomin’ Mush

I took a walkabout yesterday in the afternoon where I can get some great shadows and also great light!

And behold, I saw a star magnolia tree (I believe..I googled it too) which blooms white and pink flowers in late February and early Spring. I know when spring is coming when I see their blooms. And perhaps what’s cool about the shot I got was the moon in the center. If you can see I was looking directly up into the tree and caught the moon! Stellar magnolia, stellar moon! EEEEE! I also love watching the petals fall magnetically to the ground. That’s probably the most beautiful part, knowing that their beauty is very fleeting…you only see them bloom this time of year (I believe…that’s really the only time I’ve seen them bloom). But I’m glad to have witnessed it.

Stellar Magnolia Tree!

It has some of the most beautiful flowers!

Oh what do I see…

oh hi crescent moon!

I feel like I got distracted by the moon…ooop!

The petals falling with the wind is just something I can’t capture on camera…you just have to witness it yourself.
