July

The sun is scorching, the water’s fine

The birds are bathing

In the hot July sunshine

Bathing suits and all

Leave it to me to write ridiculous birdo haikus. But it literally just matches the doodle, so there you go.

I am on vacation this week, not wanting to celebrate the 4th at all, strictly angry with our country so why bother…

But swimming is a particular favorite past time of mine, so I will do some of that whilst protesting in the streets! Swimming in betweens…I was trying to be poetic. Why does anger and rage bring the rhythm out in me ? I’ve been dancing a lot too.

Just stick to your dumb doodles there, please..we don’t want to see any dancing, or poetry.

Dancing with doodles

The doodles dance terribly

Dance dumb doodle dance!

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!

screaming helps too.

May the Blobs be with Us

May flies in quickly!

And with it more blobs, transforming into beams of light.

MAY

Here is May’s playlist, a bit more playful as the school year winds down, summer is almost here, and it’s just…my birthday month! so yeah, I’m fortunate to have revolved around the sun. I remain hopeful. In dark times such as these, we have to remain hopeful. We have to find the light inside us all and to be a source of light for others!

…so I try in my little small quiet ways

…I hope you try too.

Half Sun/Summer

Summer sun only half showing, grinning

I don’t know why it’s only half..perhaps because we’ve been experiencing mostly rain this past week, strong storms and mild temperatures. But I imagine this will all change and we’ll have the hot hot summers we all know and mostly hate here in Texas. Bleh because it’s only June 1st!

I checked out a Japanese haiku book out in the library for my kids. And I enjoy reading them as well.

Rathos Found, Living the Good Life

Swimming on a donut in a storm drain

If you recall the story of Rathos, the grocery clerk rat who found the secret aisle 25, the Aisle Beyond 24! And was never to be seen again. Well folks, he was found. Yes, he was found. Enjoying his summer as well, floating on a donut in a storm drain. Oh what a life for a rat that went into the depths of grocery aisle Hell! I hope you’re enjoying life now, knowing the horrors you must have escaped. I really do hope Rathos writes a memoir of his life in the secret aisle. I sure hope so.
