Happy New Year from Weirdo Birdo

Weirdo Birdo chirping Auld Lang Syne

I hope to hear a bird chirping at midnight! Right outside my window. One can hope! I’m not hoping to be kissed or even to receive a message from anyone…no just a little ol’ bird singing. And even better if it were a little ol’ weirdo birdo like this little guy. Chirp! Chirp!

Oh, how I love birds in these autumn years… And now I’m obsessed with drawing them..so you can obviously guess the theme ringing in the new year shall be for code mush: weirdo Birdo!!!

Happiest of New Years for everyone! The anticipation and the hopefullness of the new year is always bright. Let’s keep the momentum going.

Chirp chirp!!

New Book of Doodles

I have been writing/doodling profusely these days and filled up a notebook in 4 months. I guess that’s actually not impressive. Here begins a blank book to fill with mushitudes and mushy blues. And mush brains and half heads, you know more of the same…

Mush Brain as we soon enter 2024

But it’s coincidental that the new book happens to fall near the new year. Lots of potential and opportunities. Keep the half head up slightly (obviously not too high or else it wouldn’t be half!) And look forward to what lies ahead. Okay it’s too soon to be starting to talk like it’s January so let’s keep it together! Let’s let the ending begin it’s end okay? I feel like there is a song in my brain about this, where is it? I’ll find it. Oh there’s a million about endings. I want to compose them all together somehow in a crazy mash up of blessed endings.

2023 Floating Head of Dismay

2023 Floating Head of Dismay

To keep traditions going, here is another Floating Head of Dismay. Since we’ve all been melting down since 2020, or maybe even longer, we support the traditions that keep us from losing our sanity going on stronger than ever! So, I can’t promise like I did last year that I would keep drawing crazy faces everyday, but I can promise there will be a new one every new year I hope?

I love traditions and I love repetitions, so lets go henceforth into the new year with dismay! and maybe even a little more goofiness than ever before!!

close up to add dramatic effect and repetition!

HAPPIEST OF NEW YEARS!!!
