Pumpkin Doubt is the Mind Killer

Doubtin’ Jack

Even Jack-o’-lanterns battle with self doubt.

“Am I scary enough?”

“Is my carved out wannabe scary face scary enough for these malicious ghosts?”

“Will I be too scary? You know, for the toddlers?”

“My back side is kind of lumpy? Will they laugh instead of scream?”

Once you carve a face into a pumpkin that’s when the doubt creeps in. So watch their floating conversation bubbles tonight and hope they’re kind to themselves. Because all jack o lanterns are spooky, cool and scary but not too scary, etc!

Mushadoodles

Hi there again! Here are some doodles that I’ve made throughout the week for my kids in the morning before school, since I am off to work before they wake up! Am I raising demented kids? Eeehh? I hope not. I am just hoping it gives them a little pep for the day! A little spark of creativity, some imagination! since I feel they are rotting their already demented minds with their devices. I question my parenting skills daily, and my lazy parenting skills, and just my overall character daily. :/

enjoy.

this family loves sharks. we’re not spreading hate about sharks because it bit the arm off. it’s an april fool’s joke okay?
here is the arm the shark bit off!

nothing like some good ol’ potty humor to get the laughter going in the morning.

Every Tuesday there is a segment about Tuesday the Cat. Maybe she’ll become a regular on the ol’ bloggo as well?

and yes, science facts! see…they’re learning stuff! not just rotting their brainos.

You are probably used to seeing a gnome in a garden or guarding the front porch steps, or just lying somewhere collecting dust in a garage. But… not this gnome. No…this gnome sits on top of the toilet…happily daydreaming in the corner. I never even noticed the damn gnome until the other day when I heard this:

“Courtesy flush please”

He’s not a tree spirit. He’s not a cutesy piece of kitsch in your garden. Nope. He’s the spirit of the toilet seat. I don’t think this will be the last we’ll hear from the gnome.
