There’s always perspective…

There’s always perspective…

Tired. it’s clinging literally on your neck like an extra layer of skin, or like a turkey neck, just dangling like you just don’t give a damn…sigh…and you really are a turkey. Goggle, (Goggle?? not going to change it) gobble, gobble it all up…everything around you, absorbing all the energy, the people around you, plus you’re consuming too much sugar, caffeine, and the junk that makes you feel like you’re just getting that extra burst of umpfh to get you going only to realize it was only false pretenses, as you sit yet again, slumped in you’re chair waiting to lie back drooling and snoring and forgetting all the work that you need to be doing…
what holiday is it anyway? I feel like I just described Thanksgiving. No, Hoppy EASTER.

Well, if it isn’t Slightly Evil Easter Bunny…

And getting the oil changes, inspection and tire rotation done (so haven’t been completely lazy. Plus I’m doing laundry continually for the rest of my life so I could never be lazy).
Halloween costumes are set, Jack Skelington and Luigi. They can’t change their minds and the costumes fit so nothing to get bent out of shape over. And then later this evening we’ll make our way to the fair! Doing all the Fall things.
And also I’ve been absent from the wee ol’ blog page, sorry about that. The school year has started and I’ve been busy plus also a slug? If that’s possible. A boot scootin’ slug, man. Going through many changes and lack of description over those details remains a mystery to you all…and to me as well as I still remain committed to NOT changing or evolving ever. But events have forced me to, so I’d rather not say…ugh just Ugh. UUUUGGGGHHHH
And that’s the sound of a boot scootin’ slug!

2022, the year of the big creepy heads. Because here is another one! and more are likely to follow!! so you’re welcome! if you didn’t know that in your life you needed creepy heads to look at !! and I will not stop using exclamation points!
Nothing scares us anymore these days anyway! we’re living in unprecedented times I say!
Good bye!

Why worry about a star or an angel on top of your tree when you can just have your cat.

The Summer of Pasta ain’t so bad if you like to eat!… But bad if you’re on a diet.
I’ve been watching this you tube channel called Pasta Grannies this summer. It’s actually amazing how much tradition goes into the cooking and the making of the pasta, it makes me want to learn. And learn I must! But it also makes me want to keep the recipes of my grandmother going and pass them onto my children some day and become a pasta granny myself! Traditions are so important because it really keeps the memory and keeps the bond of family alive. I do miss so many summers with my grandmother in the kitchen or in the garden helping her can pickles or learn how to bake bread. I hope that I can pass that love onto my family as well.
But the show is also neat because you can glimpse a different city in Italy and see their cultures and their family traditions that you might like to add to your family! I know I’m going to try! And also try and learn Italian and also maybe move there someday…(sigh)
Okay enough about pasta and love. I will become a pasta granny someday and I can’t wait. 😀

I had to say farewell to Bigbsy III due to unforseen circumstances. In other words, he was violated. Details coming up.

You shall be missed!! And served your purpose of entertaining many a tired and disgruntled worker.

You are probably used to seeing a gnome in a garden or guarding the front porch steps, or just lying somewhere collecting dust in a garage. But… not this gnome. No…this gnome sits on top of the toilet…happily daydreaming in the corner. I never even noticed the damn gnome until the other day when I heard this:
“Courtesy flush please”
He’s not a tree spirit. He’s not a cutesy piece of kitsch in your garden. Nope. He’s the spirit of the toilet seat. I don’t think this will be the last we’ll hear from the gnome.Â
